Spam Management: To remove spam from your inbox:

Check the box next to the unwanted message, and click Report Spam. The more spam you mark, the better our system will get at weeding out Spam messages. (If you make a mistake, click Undo at the top, or go into the Spam Folder, check the message and click Not Spam I have been using Gmail for my business account for over 3 years. Using this technique, I have been able to reduce spam to 1-2 a day down from 40-50 spam messages a day.

Image Spam: Spammers are getting smarter and sending their messages in the form of embedded images. There is nothing malicious in the html source of the email and therefore escapes the radar of Spam Filters.Gmail’s solution:

Create a Filter. Filter Rule Has the Words = multipart/related.gif, check Has Attachment > Go to Next Step Delete it (or make it go to a customized Folder called Spam Candidates Gmail’s Spam Filter is excellent - HAS dramatically improved. Kudos to the Gmail team!
